NOOTD

I found such a pretty nail varnish in Boots yesterday called 'Polka Dot' by Maybelline. I'm loving all these new nail trends. Polka dots, furry nail, micro bead nails..etc.

I found some fairy dust...

I was having a mosey around Cornwall this weekend, when I came across the cutest shop which sold 'fairy dust.' It was too cute to resist taking a picture.
I'm one of those mystical believing type people. By that I mean, I would quite happily believe in fairies and all those mystical type creatures. I'm also one of those fools who would actually go into this shop and buy the fairy dust, even though, unfortunately, it's just a pot of glitter.
However, I love the thought of fairy dust and all things mystical. In the back of my mind I kind of wish fairies were real. When I was younger I used to believe that mystical creatures lived in toadstools. Oh the blissfulness of ignorance.

Can you spot the fairy dust?

Did you used to believe in all things mystical when you were younger? Or do you still?

Top 10 cities I'd love to visit ♥

As it's summer and lots of people are going on holiday and travelling, it's got me thinking of all the cities I haven't yet visited and would love to! Which cities would you like to visit? What's been your favourite city you've visited?

1. Dubai, UAE
A beach in a city sounds awesome! It's hot and has some seriously good shopping opportunities! I also have not yet visited an Arab country, but would love to as I'm really fascinated by the food and the culture.

2. Rome, Italy
Also amazing for shopping. I LOVE Italian food and being a foodie Rome seems like the place to go. Plus I'd love to drive a Vespa.

3. Buenos Aires, Argentina
A friend of mine has recently come back from Buenos Aires and said they loved it! I really want to go to Latin America and Buenos Aires seems like the place to go.

4. Los Angeles or San Francisco, USA
I'm going to count both of these as one as although they are both very different cities they are in the same state, California. As I still have sooo many cities to include in my list, I'll count both these cities together.

5. Athens, Greece

6. Sydney, Australia
Hot, sunny, yes please!

7. Bangkok, Thailand

8. Palermo, Sicily
I am of Sicilian decent and would therefore love to explore my ancestry in Sicily! Plus, the city looks soo nice!

9. Cannes, France
Apparently, I have been here before however I was only 1 so I don't remember it haha!

10. Marrakech, Morocco

There it is! My lil' bucket list of cities I'd love to visit! If you have been to any of these cities let me know what you thought of them, I'd love to hear!
I think I've covered just about every continent. Now I've got some serious saving up to do!

Makeup, Topshop and Yankee Candle Haul!

Hey Guys!

Feels like ages since I've done a haul!

These are all a few items that I have purchased over the past couple of months.. (it's not very many lol!)

Natural Collection eyeshadow in 'Barley' and 'Crushed Walnut.' These eyeshadows are about 1.45 each and they are pretty good bearing in mind how cheap they are. I'm impressed!

Maybelline 24hr Color Tattoo- I've finally jumped on the Color Tattoo band wagon! I've heard sooo many great reviews of these I just had to try one for myself! I'm now totally in love with them! It's so sparkly and does indeed stay on for 24hrs. I can't wait to buy more colours!

Rimmel London Match Perfection concealer- I have serious trouble finding a concealer that'll properly cover my annoying hereditary dark circles. This concealer is brilliant! It doubles up as a highlighter, so it also looks good on your brow bone and cheek bones. It has a really lightening effect and really brightens the under eye area.

Maybelline Volum' Express Mascara- I briefly mentioned this in my 'Prom' post a while back. I LOVE Maybelline mascaras, all of the ones I have tried are so good! This mascara doesn't clump much and doesn't smudge easily. Pretty perfect really.

Pink Sands Yankee Candle- I'm going through a candle loving phase. Yankee Candles are probably the best kind of candles, I love all the different smells, especially the food smells or the summery smells. Pink Sands is definitely my favourite. I have no clue how to describe the smell but it kind of smells like roses and something tropical (really great description, I know.) Next time you pass by some Yankee Candles be sure to stop by and have a whiff of this one!

And finally my Topshop Tee! I have a crazy obsession with cats, they're fab. I love this tshirt it's great to dress up or dress down. Plus it has a cute cat on it.

Here's my updated wishlist!

2- Topshop Bandeau top, £8.00. I love these tops they're great for the summer and putting under loose fitting tops.

4- MUA pro-brow kit, £3.50 (I love how cheap but still pretty good quality MUA products are!)

5- Maybelline 4hr Colour Tattoo, £4.99. My favourite colour is definitely '25K Gold'.

I came across the 'Girl Heart Boy' series of books and just finished reading the first one yesterday. These books are seriously addictive and a perfect summer chic flick. Can't wait to read the second book!

My first summer inspired OOTD ♥

My first OOTD! Just a super quick one for today as I'm uploading this during a revision break, got GCSE history tomorrow (fun, not!)

As the sun is shining today I decided to opt for a beach inspired OOTD to get me in the mood for summer. I don't normally shop in New Look but I wondered in the other today (bargain hunting) and came across some really nice beach dresses and bikinis. Definitely pop into your nearest New Look if you are looking for some summery clothes for a holiday. New Look is great when you are on a tight budget (like me!)

You can't see in the picture but my dress is a halter dress which is perfect to wear over a bikini if you're on holiday or great for dressing up to wear into town. Very versatile!

Pink and White Stripey beach dress- New Look
Denim Jacket- Republic
Necklace- New Look (was £1.00! Super Bargain!)

I hope you have enjoyed my first OOTD and it has given you some summery inspiration!

Summer Bronze Eye Makeup Tutorial!

Hello lovelies!

This is my first ever makeup tutorial! Waheey! My first tutorial is going to be a simple one but I hope you enjoy it and I hope it gives you some inspiration for some sparkly golden summery eye makeup!

Also if you have any tutorial requests, these could consist of celebrity inspired makeup, makeup for a season etc. then let me know in the comments section and I'll try my very best to recreate this look for you :)

For this look I am using:

Eyeshadow 1- A light shimmery white colour
Eyeshadow 2- A darker golden brown shimmer
Eyeshadow 3- Brown shimmer
Collection 2000 Extreme Felt Tip Liner
Maybelline Volum' Express
Rimmel Match Perfection
Some random white eyeline- LOL I don't even know where this eyeliner is from but any white eyeliner will do! ;)
Step 1-
I applied 'Rimmel Match Perfection Highlight and Concealor' on my eyelid to act as an eyeshadow base. It also highlights your eyelid really nicely!

Step 2-
I then dusted eyeshadow 1 all over my eye lid to add a subtle shimmer. I also added it to the inner corner of my eye to open up my eyes and make them look more awake.

Step 3-

Next I added eyeshadow 2 to the middle and outer third of my eyelid to give my eye some definition and gradually build up the bronze look. Then add eyeshadow 3 to the inner crease in your eye to add some more definition.

sorry it's a bit blurred!
Step 4-
Then I added Collection 2000 felt tip liner. I also added a little flick but this is totally optional!

Step 5-
Lastly I added Maybelline Volum' Express mascara.

Voila! Finished! That's my eye makeup look complete. I normally wear this look on a daily basis in some as it's so simple yet so pretty and shimmery!

Just to clarify I'm not naked I'm wearing a halter top haha!
Above is an overall view of this eye makeup look! I am also wearing MAC 'Crosswires' Lipstick.

That's it for this tutorial today, I hope you liked it! It was super simple so let me know what tutorials you would like to see next and maybe I'll try and do a more dramatic look!
